Mrs. Sahu is an alumnus of the Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi and joined the legal profession in 2004 as an associate with Mr. K.T.S Tulsi, Sr. Advocate and former ASGI. She has been a significant part of AL since its establishment. She has more than a decade’s experience in advising a variety of clients on a wide range of legal matters including private equity and venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions (both domestic and cross border) and joint ventures.With almost two decades of experience and in-depth knowledge about the legal field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work. In a work culture infused with knowledge and transparency, she believes in innovation and upholding trust. Ms Sahu has been instrumental in encouraging law firms to embrace innovation and transparency for sustainable growth in a highly competitive marketplace through the assessment of existing realities and exploration of new opportunities.
Mrs. Sahu had the distinction of being associated with the offices of ASGI and Chief Counsels in the Supreme Court during the last 19 years of her practice. In 2013, she qualified as an Advocate on Record of the Supreme Court of India and since then she has represented many public and private sector undertakings, as also individual stakeholders in high profile litigations before the Supreme Court, High Court of Delhi and various fora in Delhi.
Mrs. Sahu has many reported cases of the Supreme Court and High Court of Delhi to her credit. She is a panel Counsel of the Union of India in the Supreme Court and is the Sr. Panel Counsel for prestigious institutions namely Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), South Asia University (SAU), Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Pondicherry, (JIPMER).
She is an alumnus of Lady Shriram College, Delhi and apart from the legal field, she is also associated with many socio-cultural organizations in Delhi and is also a casual presenter in the Western Music Section of the All India Radio.
In addition to the above, Mrs. Sahu acts as an expert external advisor and committee member in relation to anti-harassment issues at the workplace under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act, 2013. She also regularly undertakes training programmes and workshops not just in the context of Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act, 2013 but also on conflict management and the role of Human Resources in conflict management in the workplace, for both members of the Internal Complaints Committee, the Senior Management, the Human Resource teams as well as for employees.
